Ray played for Newbridge Town FC, Senior team in the LSL for a number of years, he then went to play with Suncroft in the KDFL for 5 years, and enjoyed plenty of success, winning the KDFL Senior Div, Senior Cup and League Cup, before moving onto the management team, where he coached for the last couple of years. In 2018 he was named the KDFL Player of the Year. Still too young to hang up his boots he came back to Newbridge Town to play for the O35s, where he is the team captain. Ray has been a rock at the heart of our defence this season, and one of the reasons why we are top of the league at this stage of the season. Ray is pictured with Kildare/Laois ISRS Chairman Alan Finn collecting his awards last evening in the Keaden Hotel at the League’s July Council. Well done from all of us Ray.
