Clonmullion FC 0 Newbridge United FC 5


Newbridge United FC maintained their Division 1 top spot by virtue of this 5-0 victory over Athy side Clonmullion FC. Unveiling their new kit proudly sponsored by Old County Barbers they romped to victory with goals from Dennis Kave (2), Ryan Kearney, James Mahony and Murray Pender.


Rathangan AFC 0 Old Fort Celtic 4


Old Fort kept the pressure on league leaders following their 4-0 victory over Rathangan FC on Saturday. A superb hat trick by Scott Coyle and great individual effort from Corey McGuirk was enough to seal victory for the Portlaoise lads.


Clane United FC 4 Moone Celtic FC 3


Clane United relinquished a 3-1 lead to drag themselves back into the game and grab a late winner against Moone Celtic on Saturday to maintain their second placed position just one point off Newbridge United, with a game in hand. Clane’s goals coming from Liam Deane, James Ralph, Aidan Ralph and Ben Kirwan.

St. Anthonys Youths 0 Sallins Celtic FC 5


Sallins Celtic put five past St Anthonys Youths on Saturday without reply to see them go joint third in this competitive division. Adam Gannon, Ruairi McAuliffe and a superb hatrick from the impressive Ben McDonald gave Sallins the victory.


Coill Dubh AFC 5 Newbridge Rovers 4


Coill Dubh earned a valuable three points on Saturday when they were on the right side of a nine goal thriller against Newbridge Rovers. In a weekend of hat tricks in the Under 20s Division Ryan Grace was on target three times for the Dubhs and Conor Kealy scored a brace for the superb win for the Blackwood men.
