Huge Congratulations to Newbridge Rovers FC who claimed the KDFL Under 20 Shield on Saturday at Doctor’s road, Clane, overcoming BBC United FC on a scoreline of 4-1. Well done to Daragh and the lads.

Leinster FA Women’s Shield Final :Coill Dubh AFC Coill Dubh AFC who will host this year's Leinster Football Association Women's Shield Final. The Kildare Club are no stranger to hosting Provincial Finals, having hosted the Leinster Women's Football Council Finals in all age categories some years ago in what was a festival of football for the girls and women's game. 

Cusack Park will be the venue on Sunday 27th April as Dublin side Baldoyle United FC take on top Kilkenny side Thomastown United FC in what promises to be a cracker. The game kick's off at 2.00pm. Cover charge €5 adults. Children / Older persons free.

First Council Meeting of 2025 

The first Council meeting of the 2025 season will take place on Wednesday 14th May in the Keadeen Hotel at 7.30pm. Among league business presentations will be made for our monthly award winners Sept/Oct last year, including Managers/Players/Senior players and goal keepers of the month. The KDFL will also be piloting a workshop at this council meeting facilitated by Paddy Maher of Mind Matters. The KDFL will then be rolled out the workshop across the region in strategic areas free of charge to clubs.
